Zeynep is a Turkish-Canadian filmmaker, journalist, and social impact producer who has been the lead on TV and web series projects, films, digital media, and branded content with Microsoft, NBC, Corus Entertainment, DGC BC, and Telus Optik TV. She has produced projects for broadcast TV on W Network, YTV, City TV, Stream+, Telus Optik TV, and Travel Channel. She directed a digital series spotlighting icons like tennis star Venus Williams, astronaut Chris Hadfield, musicians Raine Maida & Chantal Kreviazuk, and UN Ambassador and model Sabrina Dhowre Elba. She’s an alumna of the Women in the Director’s Chair (WIDC), Netflix-Banff Diversity of Voices, and CBC Business of Broadcasting programs. Most recently, she produced a short film that won the DGC BC Greenlight Award. Zeynep is a fierce advocate for gender equity and representation in the arts and STEM fields, which is why she started Radiate Media. She comes into filmmaking to bridge the gap between science, tech, and the arts.
