We are a boutique media company specializing in content production and event management. We bridge the gap between the science, technology, and creative fields to support a generative pipeline of projects that highlight the voices and contributions of unsung innovators who shape our world.

At Radiate Media by Özlü Creative + Community, we believe that with our events and content, we can affect systemic change for gender equity and change the face of innovation so that more girls, women, and gender-diverse people feel empowered to step into their leadership and tackle our society’s greatest challenges. Through our NO CREDIT video podcast, our Radiate Media platform, social channels, community partner network, Radiate Festival events, STEM film incubators, and our content on MSN.com, we're creating spaces and platforms where the voices and stories of women+ in the STEM and creative fields are heard, celebrated, and amplified. By leveraging strategic partnerships, we are creating opportunities for curious and creative people to come together, collaborate, tell their own stories, and champion equity.

How it started
In 2020, as the world began to transform amid the pandemic and social justice movement, it was the power of storytelling that called us to listen and relearn, build resilience and connect with others on a deeper, more human level. Recognizing this shift, Zeynep founded Özlü Creative + Community to elevate the powerful voices of underheard, underrepresented communities through various channels and platforms across a range of sectors.
How it's going
What started as a consulting firm with a sole proprietor has quickly grown into a team of creatives who fuel a media platform and events that engage the STEM and arts communities. As technology continues to shape every single industry, our mission is to champion diversity, highlight new pathways to innovation, and spotlight more brilliant women and gender-diverse professionals to ensure their contributions to our world never get left out of history books.

Our story
"Öz" is pronounced like the "euse" in masseuse and "lü" in "lieu." In Turkish, "Özlü" literally translates to "meaningful," and this specific name celebrates the strong matriarchal influence Zeynep grew up with as a proud daughter of Turkish immigrants.

Radiate Media by Özlü Creative + Community staff and offices are situated on the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinabeg, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat (Wyandot) in what is called "Toronto," as well as the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations in what is called "Vancouver." We acknowledge that these lands are still home to many diverse First Nations, Métis, and Inuit people.
